CHANGE: It Starts With Me

In this world of progress, we need to improve, we need to develop in order to cope up with the transformation of the new world, and in order to do this, we must change. But where do we start?
If we want change, we should not wait for it, we must take action, make the move, start the change, and if all of us think this way, the change will be fast, even though we start with small changes, little by little we will achieve what we want, if we work together towards the change we want, the change we need, we can achieve it in no time.
Start with yourself, convince, persuade others, work together and achieve the great change, towards development and progress

I'll Be

Ten years from now, how do you see yourself? Some of us answer that they'll be doctors, some lawyers, others say they'll be teachers, still others answer that they'll be tourist guides, but when my turn comes to answer, I think to myself and ponder on these words, "what do I really want to be?"
Ever since I learned to make ambitions, I had many dreams. When I was a kid, I wanted to become a basketball player, but as I grew and learned, I felt the calling to priesthood, and that was what I thought but I was wrong. I tried entering the minor seminary but due to some problems, i didn't enter, then just last December, I took an entrance exam to a major seminary, but my parents didn't support me so I decided to give priesthood up, instead, I am following what my mother wants me to be, a CPA.
Even though I am not that good with numbers, I am trying my best to learn and love accounting and maybe someday become a CPA, have a family with the girl I love and travel around the world.

A Bigueños Time

The streets are filled with people, colorful decorations are hanged everywhere, music echoes in the air and a smile is on every face. Its the time to celebrate. Viva Vigan.
January 25 started off early with the grand parade where schools, organizations and companies paraded on their floats around Vigan. I was infront of the parade, bearing the national col;or alongside other school's CAT officers, PNP and the army. After the parade, other events kicked-off but i was not able to join and watch because I had my training.
The streets were busy, fast food chains were full but with all this commotion, happiness was in every Bigueños heart. Viva Vigan Festival.

Reflection

The third grading period was very nice. this is the first time I completed my post. I learned some more on htmls but not that much because I was constantly misbehaving during our class, all that i was doing was sitting there, making noise and waiting for the bell to ring. I was a very bad boy.
Thats why I am planing to behave more, and listen more to my teacher and to keep completing my post.

A New Year Away From Home

New years are best spent at home, with the family you most love. But this new year, I wasn't with them, but they were still with me.
December 30, 2010, I was given the chance to go to manila for the first time, but I had to make a big decision, to spend new year with my family or to go to manila. I choose to go to manila because I thought that I might not get another chance again in a long time, thinking that new year away from home wouldn't be so bad, but I was wrong. Yes, I enjoyed my "manila boy" experience and buying my spike shoes but as the clock struck twelve on December 31, I felt something was missing, I wished I was with my family at that moment, enjoying the new year with them.
A new year away from home is really sad, thats why I just slept when my cousins were enjoying and celebrating. Though I was far away from them during my stay at manila, I always made sure to pray for them and keep them in my heart. New years spent with family are yet still the best.

What Christmas Is About

The celebration, the feasting, the fireworks and the gifts. These things come in our mind when Christmas is upon us. Little do we know that the true meaning of Christmas is lost away from us.
We have to prepare for Christmas, we buy decorations to put in our bomes, gifts for loved ones and food for noche buena. But are these material things really necessary to celebrate Christmas? No. We need not to prepare decorations, gifts nor food, we need to prepare ourselves, we need to repent and regret our sins, to recollect ourselves and for the real meaning of Christmas, to give praise to the birth of our Savior and to simply enjoy the company of our most loved family and friends.
Having a well spent Christmas doesn't mean spending much on decorations, foods and gifts, it's all about friends, family and most of all God.

Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan

We live in a world of differences. We live amongst people who have different beliefs, cultures, actions and opinions than our own but eventhough we share such great differences, we have to live harmoniously beside each other.
The secret behind living peacefully and harmoniously with each other despite our differences is learning to understand that we are different people that are different in many ways, that we should respect these differences that we share. Having good relationship or having unity with our neighbors results to greater progress. Development in our society will rapidly increase, from community to the other, until the whole world becomes a success, all thanks to having good relationship with each other.
Learning to understand the differences we have create good relationship and unity among us which results to progress therefore leading us to success.
