Reflection

The third grading period was very nice. this is the first time I completed my post. I learned some more on htmls but not that much because I was constantly misbehaving during our class, all that i was doing was sitting there, making noise and waiting for the bell to ring. I was a very bad boy.
Thats why I am planing to behave more, and listen more to my teacher and to keep completing my post.

A New Year Away From Home

New years are best spent at home, with the family you most love. But this new year, I wasn't with them, but they were still with me.
December 30, 2010, I was given the chance to go to manila for the first time, but I had to make a big decision, to spend new year with my family or to go to manila. I choose to go to manila because I thought that I might not get another chance again in a long time, thinking that new year away from home wouldn't be so bad, but I was wrong. Yes, I enjoyed my "manila boy" experience and buying my spike shoes but as the clock struck twelve on December 31, I felt something was missing, I wished I was with my family at that moment, enjoying the new year with them.
A new year away from home is really sad, thats why I just slept when my cousins were enjoying and celebrating. Though I was far away from them during my stay at manila, I always made sure to pray for them and keep them in my heart. New years spent with family are yet still the best.

What Christmas Is About

The celebration, the feasting, the fireworks and the gifts. These things come in our mind when Christmas is upon us. Little do we know that the true meaning of Christmas is lost away from us.
We have to prepare for Christmas, we buy decorations to put in our bomes, gifts for loved ones and food for noche buena. But are these material things really necessary to celebrate Christmas? No. We need not to prepare decorations, gifts nor food, we need to prepare ourselves, we need to repent and regret our sins, to recollect ourselves and for the real meaning of Christmas, to give praise to the birth of our Savior and to simply enjoy the company of our most loved family and friends.
Having a well spent Christmas doesn't mean spending much on decorations, foods and gifts, it's all about friends, family and most of all God.
